everything flows, endless rivers are penetrating the underground and are flowing into the towers, supplying the huge machine with energy and time. from a former balance of nature and culture, a new pattern emerges, linear and hard in its surfaces. the gentle singing of the treetops gives way to the sharp-edged noise of the technical mechanics of the moloch. the machine lives - through the life that once contained it and now runs like blood through their veins.
