gernot schulz : architektur

house altenberg is built on the foundations of an old monastery. the partly still existing historical architecture was masterfully merged with modern building parts by gernot schulz: architecture and now shines in new splendor. the architectural film concentrates on the contemplative atmosphere of the youth education center, while the soundscape, designed in collaboration with sound artist lu zou, interweaves the everyday sounds with an archaic soundscape that points to the origins of architecture.
