tadao ando's conference pavilion on the vitra campus was the first building that the architect realized outside of japan. the architecture film captures the meditative mood of the building and allows the concrete building to rest in the aesthetic atmosphere of the cherry orchard.

the interplay of dynamic drone flights and moving images reminiscent of vivid photography creates an atmospheric journey through a landscape of exposed concrete and cherry blossoms. the film is completed by sound compositions that were recorded on site and then abstracted.
